Purple Dimensions

I know what a purple dimension is, but how do you find or remove the link, variable, relationship or whatever is making it purple

I want to be able to edit the dimension, I have even tried deleting the hole and putting a new hole in, and then dimension it an it becomes purple (Not to Scale)
