Purge

Is there a purge function in any version of ProE? I'm
trying to get rid off old version files & keep only the
last version. I know that intralink had purge command but
place where I work doesn't use intralink or anything like
that.

Purge is a built in Pro/E command which if you execute at a command line will delete all older versions of every Pro/E file type in the directory where the command is issued. One of the easiest ways to use it is from the Pro/E menus : Window\system window which opens a command prompt in the current working directory. Run purge and the directory is purged.

What exactly do you mean when you say "create assembly BOM"? No there
is no programmatic access in Pro/TOOLKIT for drawing repeat regions.

do a search for "purge.exe", stick it in the folder you
want to purge, then double click it (to run it) it will
clear out all old versions in that folder.
