Hi All.

I have alot of old and wornout punch and dies down here in Mexico. Does anyone know of a company that will take these off my hands for a fee and any companies that will re-grind not so badly damaged punches.

I dont have a list of tooling because there are way too many to count.

Thanks

Jon Taylor

If you're throwing them out, look for a scrap dealer who will give you the best price on your metal. I don't know of any companies that buy wornout tooling from other companies so that they can re-furbish and use it. Maybe somebody else on here does.

Just about any tool & die shop will regrind punches for you. It just depends on how much stock you want to take off, if you're just refacing to resharpen the detail, etc.

Sometimes you can save pieces and rework them into others, but if space in your plant is at a premium, the 5S gods often won't allow it.
