I am working on a project where a company is bidding with a solution for a pump which he claim meets our requirements. He mentioned the pump vendor combined ISO standards ( ISO 2858 and Iso5199) to meet our requirements. I am just wondering if it's true that vendors can combine standards when they design these pumps?
