pump program

I just graduated and my first project with the company is to determine what kind of screw pump and components is needed for the well to put back in production. My question how do i start? and what is the necessary info i need, to start talking to some pump companies.

first and foremost...

identify the fluid, process parameters, and any other relevant information regarding the fluid and/or process.

trust me, you are likely not re-inventing the wheel-others have accomplished what you need.

i' also suggest obtaining a copy of api-610 std and review it.
