Hi

I am currently working for garrett engine boosting systems. This company manufactures the compressor and turbine wheels for the turbo charger.i am under going a project to reduce the pulsation levels coming off the turbo. This will be my main project for the year and i was wondering if you could point me in the right direction to start solving this problem.
any ideas or suggestions for a starting point would be a great help.thanks
Neil

I've seen photos of turbochargers modified with dimples on the compressor housing inlet.

Don't know if that's what you're looking for but I read about it on Overboost.com (an enthusiast "e-zine").

Plenum chambers. Do the pulsations show up on or off the engine? Acoustic feed back?

Wow! In this format, I'm hoping that Garrett might teach me something. Instead their new hires ask for advice?

Just a question here. . . . .

When you say "pulsation levels coming off the turbo" are you referring to pulsations in the exhaust system distal to the turbocharger turbine or pulsations reflected from the turbocharger back to the exhaust manifold?
