we have the following formula for calculating belt tensions in a pulley system. is it correct?

u'y
T1/T2 = e

T1 + T2= tension in belts
u' = co-efficient of friction/ 1/2 'V' belt angle for B
section belt
y = theta= angle of lap

what is e? is it the button on the calculator or another variable

Yes, It is the "button on the calculator".
e is log base 'e' e=2.7182
u'y
