Hi, I made a small transmission system for the lab and bought some v belts/the jointing kit for this project. (the PU Belts like this)
When trying to connect the PU rubber belt, I found the connection area was Not in the same horizontal plane.
How can I fix this? Or just let it be.

If your using a V belt you might want to look at the Fenner Power Twist.
They have worked very well for me.
Best regards, David

Obviously it will weaken the belt some due to le ss cross-section area at the glued joint. If this weakening is tolerable then there should be no issues continuing to run with the belt.
