Is it possible to create a PSD curve from an acceleration vs. frequency spec? I've heard both yes and no today, so now I'm totally lost. Thanks. John

In mechanical engineering speak, yes. You'll end up with units of g^2/Hz.

In some strict sense you might not.

Any idea of how to do this? It can't be as simple as squaring the accelertion and dividing by the freqency. Or, is it?

No, it is total energy per bandwidth, I suggest you look at the agilent book in the faq for this forum
