Was looking at changing the order we stamp out and paint some .093" thick x 2.82" diameter aluminum discs. Right now they are stamped from sheet and then painted (powder coated - one side only). The outside painter would like to paint the sheets before stamping and apply a protective covering before shipping to the stamping place. Sort of like Saran -wrap.

3M said they don't have anything. Looks like some of the protective wrap from U-line might work. Any of you tried to protect powder coated parts before machining? We have them stamp 3000 pieces at a time and that lasts about 2 years.
