Anyone with some advice about preventing a rust coloured film forming on the glycol (30%w/w in water) side of an ammonia/glycol refrigeration evaporator plate HX. The film is hot water soluble, but has the appearance of an oily film. The glycol has some sort of proprietory corrosion inhibiter but this seems inadequate. Glycol temp, -6 to -8 deg C.
