Project Folder Rename

Our projects are stored in a primary project folder that has relevant works sub-folders (Docs, Worksheets, Catia etc etc). We would like to rename the primary (root) project folder. There are no links outside of the Catia folder and its sub-folders they are only in the Catia folder and it's sub-folder.
Will renaming the primary project folder affect the links in the Catia folder and it's sub-folders?.

As I see, only problem is to update the Search Order (for all users).

It will not affect.but if you save the part files outside this folder and if the folder is renamed it will affect those parts contained in that folder.

you will have to use the desk tool to relocate those files. hope it helps. All the best.
