project closeout report 1

Hi all,
i have been asked to lead a close out report on our last project on the electrical and C&I areas. i was just wondering if anyone might have done some work on these type of reports and have info which might be of help. this being a first for me i am keen to deliver a good and comprehensive report and would appreciate any help or points which i could include. any useful reading will be greatly appreciated.

For the C&I:
1)Commissioning procedure for the system including project specific forms for task verification. The tasks may include fieldbus segment checks, loop checks, valve travel setting, instrument calibration, P&ID walkdowns, control panel drawing redlines, alarm system checks. Note that we define a loop as from field device to control room so that checks discover addressing troubles as well as field problems. This document, except for importing project specific tag lists and the like, changes little from project to project.
2)Acceptance test procedure uses the hardware and software functional specs as the sole source docs. We inspect/test to insure that all specified hardware, software licensing, control logic and HMI screens are as described in those specs. This procedure is a cut and paste exercise.
