Dear all,
Please someone clear my confusion on how does sap calculates the time period of building when we choose to program determined time period in earthquake load pattern.I generally use IS1893 seismic code.
my next query is how does sap determines design moment in column design. In column design summary sheet, there shown design moment and factored moment. I found that the factored moment is same when we look for the analysis data of column(that is axial force P, moment Mu2 and Mu3. But how can't get the design moment. Please help me in this regard. I am attaching the design summary sheet.

best regards
