Product scenes updating in drawings (V5 R14)

I'm having trouble with views in drawings that are created from enhanced scenes. When I link to a new product (previous product updated with new parts and new revision level) and I update the drawing it acts like its not linked to the scene any more. I typically use scenes to hide certian parts in the drawings and when updated these parts appear again. I checked the links and it says the views are still linked to the scene.

Any ideas?

are you using SAVE MANAGEMENT when you make the revised product? how about the new drawing?
