Can any one provide me the information about running of the well heads without the process scale inhibitor pumps for a shorter duration? I need to decide on the SIL level of the system instrumentation. Thanks in advance.

Scale must be due to Ca, Mg, Ba salts in the water phase ?
Any PSVs' on this facility - can they or the PSV inlet lines get blocked with scale ?
Some mitigation possible if you have penultimate high pressure trip protection

Thanks for the reply. Yes we have the PSV facility and also a PSHH trip. But the point is, how fast this system should be started back after rectifying the scale inhibition pumping system ?

Pls explain how the production ramp up rate affects plant safety after the scale inhibitor pumps are restarted

Since the PSHH is still active after the pumps are restarted, then there is no influence on production ramp rate ?
