Problems with new version vN4W

Has anyone else had problems running non-linear analysis with the new version of visual Nastran for Windows, using models created in the previous version? Does the Marc solver make a difference here?

There shouldn´t be any problem with "old stuff" due to adding Marc since it is a new module.
I have testrun nonlinear in v2001, v2002 and v2003, both static and transient. Transient didn´t work all that good in v2002 but v2003 seems to work fine.

There is a Patch att MSC website that is associated with Marc that might help you.

I have n4w v2001. I cannot seem to run a thermal problem. The manual is not clear on the procedure. Do you have a procedure to follow for thermal problems starting from the geometry ? I continue to get fatal error messages when I try to run a thermal problem. I know it must be something I am doing wrong.

Can you be more specific what kind of fatal errors you get?
As a start you can look at MSC's website if you find any tutorials that describes your problem. They should at least get you started.
