Problem with rendering

Guys,
I have a strange problem in ProE.
Whenever I open an individual component of the assembly for rendering purpose,
If i change the color of that individual component then the whole assemblies color gets changed automatically.

I don't know how this is happening...It's really an annoying problem.

Somebody please tell me the solution for it.

try giving the color to the part separately in the part
mode itself

I did it.....Still the problem persists.
