hi,

I've very new to proEngineer, so this might be a really silly question, but when i tried to use mechanica within the proE it keeps saying "error, this feature requires mechanica to be installed", but i have installed mechanica many times, it just won't work. Does any one might know what am i doing wrong? i'm using Wildfire 2.0, and my datacode is M150, it's running on winxp.

Thank you

There is a screen in the Pro/Engineer setup called "Product Interoperability Configuration" It has a place for Mechanica. This directory must be correct or Pro/E won't find Pro/Mechanica. You can run loadpoint/bin/ptcsetup.bat

loadpoint is teh top level directory of where Pro/E is installed. Might be something like c:\ptc\proewildfire2.0\.

Run ptcsetup.bat from your <Pro/E loadpoint>/bin directory, and point Pro/E to your Mechanica installation.

The option for this comes up after you configure the licenses.

yeah it worked, amazing, thank you guys, i can finally start work now.

thanks again.
