Hello,

I use Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4.0 with a card drive Nvidia Quadro FX 1700. When I work with drawing plane of large assemblies and drawing have cross view sections the computer is very slow.

What is the problem? Pro/Engineer or the card drive?

Best Regards,
Jose Pastor Beltran

Large assembly drawings have always been really slow with Pro/E. Especially when you're making exploded drawings.

One trick would be to suppress as much as you can. Then create the drawing. And when you're ready to print it, resume all your features. This is a great trick when you've got massive hole patterns that can be suppressed.

Another trick is to get the intern to do those drawings. And you red-line them for corrections.

Hello,

I have not problem with exploded views in drawings. I have problem when I have cross section views in drawings.

Thank you very much.
