Good news. The sensing problem I had was the calibration. Yes RPosty I check the connector and it was ok. Thamks for the tip anyway. The tech guy arrive early and check that. He actually show me how to do it. The emgeneer from Ermaksan said it might happen after they change the head.
It is so different on the cut now. Because I never operate A fiberlaser who it was setting good,,, I rush my... for the last three months. But you know what,,,I.m glad it happen because today I found it so easy to adjust.
Tomorrow I'm finishing to adjust the 7ga. Almost perfect except sometime I have little hard ball of hard dross. Not a lot just some spot. I'm not sure if it is the pressure or putting a little bit more focal. Might be the power a little too. Well that's the fun of it. My biggest problem to come is the .250 ss. I expect 29 or 30 in.min.
By the B20vtechv, I try to open your file and seem to be a long road to go. I'll try again later.

where you able to open the files?

I was able too open them.

Where is the amada files? I load my Words to open it and came back but the files wasn,t there.
Today I fix the 7ga, Finish the day on .250 but no success. Speed 38 to 40. Focal -5 but still no good. I work more on the focal. I read a lot of stuff on internet but doesn,t seem to apply easely. Some say 80%, some 2/3, some 4/5. I use the calculator and numbers are numbers I can make tell them what I would like to ear. There a rule of thumb. Example for .250 I arrive with a focal of -5.39. After 5 it is really worst.
Anyway today was my best day.Cut 15 sheets (60 in by 120) just in the morning. Thickness 11ga. All perfect one after one. Oh man felt good after three months of hell. Tomorrow got 17 sheets of .250 to do. Not a good coming I guess. Still dross on it. Can't work the pieces they want the sheets all cut on a pallet. Does someone have at least a speed.

The files he sent are zipped. Make a folder called "Amada" (or whatever you like) then Extract all the files to that folder. Most of the files are PDF's which you open with Adobe Acrobat Reader, some are Word and some are excel. Not sure how much they will help you, they are for an Amada Laser System, which has a Fanuc CO2 Laser System. There are some files with good general tips, they may help you. Not sure how familiar you are with PDF's, so I will give you some info as if you are not.

Acrobat Reader is free from Adobe.com, However, when you install it, do a custom install and install the reader only. If you don't, you will end up with loads of crap like toolbars and such. You do not want that crap, trust me.

If you do not want to buy microsoft Office to open word and excell files, Sun microsystems offers a completely compatible free product called Open Office which can be gotten from openoffice.org. most everything will work fine, some minor formatting may look off, but the info will be there.
