Folks,
Our first injection molded product in China on a deadline and the molder having problem with part being too brittle. The material is PETG and he added a "concentrate" which seemed to solve the brittle problem but then when colorant was added the parts are brittle again. Part is long and skinny - 18" by 1/8" diameter rod. Am needing a materials expert to correspond or else boots on the ground consultant in Shenzhen area. Anyone able to help or have suggestion on finding local expert??
Thanks.

Change the colour formulation. At least one of the components is influencing crystallisation badly.

Another possibility is that the colour component is carrying water into the material. Dry the colour before using it.

Regards
Pat
