Good evening I have to model a composite laminate with an hole. I create the layup with the graphic command "create section" where I give in input the "angle orientation" of each lamine. I read that this orientation referring to the coordinate system setted in the feature "material orientation" (I chooose the global system with axis 1 as "additional rotation direction" and axis 2 as "stacking direction". I have created the mesh and, obviously, the element around the hole are arched. Question: altrought the element arched, is the direction of the the lamine (and the fibers) for each element unchanged? In other terms is the direction of the fibers always costraint to the global system or it follows the bending of the element somehow?
Obviously when a composite gets drilled, the fibers didn't change their direction and didn't fit with the hole, so I want to avoid this event.

Thanks.
