Hi

When All the parts in an assembly are fully constrained, does pro/mech treats the design as one solid or on a part by part basis...The reason I'm asking is that I wanna know if two parts of different materials are connected together in an assembly mode via bolts, how does pro/mech interprets the design....

Thank you

Jules

I guess it works on a part-by-part basis. About your design, Pro/E will consider it as a single element if you specified the right constraints (no rotation and no translation anymore). If you still have a rotation, Pro/E should be abble to apply it. FrenchCAD
