pro/e point coordinates for mathcad

I have a 2d mechanism (linkage) that I want to analyze using MathCAD. Basically what I am trying to figure out is how do I create a feature in Pro/E (that I can link to a parameter) that will output the coordinates of a point relative to a coordinate system? I say coordinates because I can get the distance but I need the distance to be signed to indicate which side of the coordinate system it is on...
