Is there a special way to handle the automatic MAC bridge Miniport that Windows XP creates on a computer??.
I am affaid to install Pro/E because it keeps on switching between the 2 PTC HOSTID which is read into the first screen in the install program
I think my plan is to unbridge the Intell network card (which is actually integral in my motherboard).
when I do that PRO/E seems to consistently pull up the "hard" MAC address of card and not the "soft" MAC bridge Miniport address?
I am not sure what the advantage is of even having the bridge or specifically what the advantage is of having the network card in the bridge??
any comments before i screw this up will be appreciated.
and if you can not tell i am a novice.
