Hi,

I have a new laptop that is running OS WIndows Vista 64 bit edition.

I have no idea whether Pro/E Creo that I have pre installed is 32 bit or 64 bit..How to find this out?

Thanks

Hari

I'm using WF4 and I can find out the version as follows.

In the menu I choose Help > System Information. Then a information window opens.
There is a category Machine Information, where the Pro/ENGINEER Machine Type is written.
If the machine type is I486_NT, you're using a 32 bit Pro/E.
And it it's X86E_WIN64, you're using a 64 bit Pro/E.

Ok, is it telling you the machine OS type or Pro/E ?

Because what happens when i use 32 bit Pro/E on a 64 bit OS?

It's the used Pro/E type.

32 bit Pro/E on a 64 bit OS shows the value I486_NT.
