I'm confused about use / purpose of private and public fire hydrants.
Are both meant to be connected to fire engine, if yes, as per my understanding , Civil defense personnel use the 4" outlet, so what is the reason there is also 2.5" outlets?
while doing hydraulic calculation , does NFPA 1 Fire flow requirements to calculate the required fire flow apply to both private and public fire hydrants?
DO THE Class rating AA, A, B & C apply to also private hydrant?
