I made a simple sketch in Pro/E which will easily fit a A4
paper. However, when I print it the dimensions are little
altered.Eg: If my sketch has an one inch line,I want the
print also to have that line measuring exactly one inch.I
tried to import that to drawing and changed the scale to
1:1 but still it does not work.Any help will be
appreciated.thanks

In the print dialog box, press the configure button and make sure that your settings for your model are 1.00. We use based on zoom soI have to make sure that I use orientation/refit before printing and that gets me 1:1 prints.

When I was in college (100 years ago) we were taught to
NEVER measure anything off a printed drawing.

herb: You're so old school! Tee hee. I graduated with my AAS in '74. And... oh that's right, they taught us the same thing. So, did Ingersall Milling Machine Co. But, times, they are a changin'.
