every time I try to print on several different printers and several computers using DraftSight the print is about 100th of the requested size. The preview shows a correct image that appears to be paper size (8.5 x 11 or 13 x 19 inches) however the print is about one inch high. I have tried every option on print setup with same results. The same drawing prints fine in Autocad 2011, 2006, and 2011LT
Does anyone know how to fix this as i like DraftSight?

I too have had this exact problem. I have had to resort to AutoDesk TrueView to print. Anybody have a solution to this problem? Otherwise a nice program and viable alternative to ACAD

I just downloaded version 11.2 and it does not seem to have this problem. I can say when printing to a pdf file that the resolution is not what I expected. Seems it does not output true arcs and circles but rather an approximation that is pretty poor when you zoom in. Maybe there is a settings change to correct this but I have not found it so far.
