When I ask Autocad to print a drawing it seems to take forever for the printer to start. Is there a setting that I can tweak to speed things up?

hey ozone guy
are you using a big plotter? are your dwgs. quite involved? are you printing on letter size or 24 x 36? all this will affect your plot time. we have a 15'000 dollar printer and it takes a long time to warm up sometimes. i don't know that there is a solution to that. how long are you having to wait???
