Is there a separate setting to activate the zoom & pan options on the print dialog. I find this very useful for me.

Does any one know how to bring these buttons to work?

Thanks in advance.

What you see when you click on Preview in Print dialog as mine seems to be working. And yes thee is no extra setting required.

I should have specified, my bad. My question was in the SW-explorer. I choose a file from the vault (Lower left pane). All the information about the file is displayed in the right window. In the view tab, right click and choose print.

This dialog is a lot more different than any other print dialog. Right in the dialog there is zoom, pan change sheets etc. But few of them are disabled.

Did not know about that function so have not used it before, however all functions work OK for me with SW2010-SP2 x32

Do you have an approved video card and driver?
Maybe a printer driver issue. Can you test using other printers?
Do other SW installs at your company have the same problem?

Can you post a screen shot of what you see on your screen. I believe you are getting some buttons as grayed out as perfect behavior. For e.g., the Previous button will not work until you click on Next as there no more page(s) before that.

Attached find an image of the print dialog.

I discovered that these Icons are working if I am printing a part (not drawing). When a drawing is choosen a sheet # is displayed at the XXXX (see attached image)

I found a interesting feature, that are very useful in solidworks explorer. To quickly view & print files without check-out OR even open them in solidworks.

While on the sw explorer, select a drawing in the PDMWorks, go to the view tab to bring up the e-drawings view. By default this shows only the first sheet. There are no tabs for the rest of the sheets. we can right click and choose sheets->click on any other sheet number to bring it up.
