Is it possible to print the area that I zoom around in a slddrw file?

I just want to print what I am viewing when I zoom into an area.

Thanks for the help.

How about using a screen capture utility? The one I use (Hypersnap) has a "capture region" facility, as well as full screen, which you can do in Windows with CTRL + Print Screen.

The latter copies the screen to the clipboard. You then paste it into Paint or any other bitmap editing program you might have.

With the region capture, you define the region by clicking in one corner, then clicking the opposite corner. If you set your monitor to its highest possible resolution, you can get some very fine detail.

No connection w/Hypersnap, just a long time & satisfied user.

You can print "selection". In the print dialog box, you can choose all sheets, pages, and selection. When you select "selection" a window appears and you can move and scale the window to encompass what you want to print.

I use screen capture all the time...it works fine...I thought I might save a couple of clicks.

Print selection works ok....it prints less than the whole print but more than the selected area. When I select print/selection it prints what I already selected...it does not prompt for a new selection.

If you don't select anything, then print selection will put a box on the screen and you can do what you want with it.

thanks....shaggy

Also note the difference in resolution with printing verses screen capture. Whatever floats your boat at the time on that one.
