Prestressed Concrete Removal 1

Does anyone have a specification or any reference document relating to the removal of pre-stressed concrete? I am preparing some rehabilitation details for prestressed box girders.
This would be a partial depth removal (1"-2") to facilitate concrete repairs. I wanted to see if there were provisions to cover this safely since there may be exposed or damaged strands. There is a large concentration of strands in the removal area.

Attached are two Special Specifications from NYSDOT; Special means they're not in the Standard Spec Book. Also, not that the specs are stamped disapproved by EI-16-007
, that means the someone decided the spec is no longer necessary as similar work can now be done with various parts of the updated standard specs.

Do you mean something like this? I would be much more worried if this repair were large or were in the vicinity of the post-tensioned anchorage zone.

How big of a repair area are we talking about? If it's only 1"-2" deep then it doesn't sound like you may be avoiding exposing the strands.

Do you have the original drawing that shows depth of the topping slab, and location of the strands?
