I am having a bit of discussion with my co workers about installing a 1/2" pressure relief valve on the jockey pump discharge piping.
The Jockey pump churn plus the static pressure from the city water supply equals 125 psi. I see no reason for one.
Others say we need it and it must be adjustable. I really don't understand the adjustable part. It just needs to be set for 175 psi.
Any insight would be appreciated,
Thanks
