An older version of Architectural Graphic Standard(AGS) had a chart illustrating curves outlining the relationship between loads, bearing plate sizes and concrete thicknesses. The newer edition has omitted this particular chart. Would anyone know the reason?

According to the older version of AGS, the curves were developed by the flexure method, therefore, if I wanted to replicate these curves, are the concrete slabs supposed to be considered infinitely long and continuously(but not uniformly)supported beams and is the bearing plate pressure to be considered as a point load or as an uniformly distributed load?.
