Pressure distribution from square footings

Hi, how do you model a square footing loading in a software that considers only loads to be infinite in the direction perpendicular to the wall section (plane strain analysis, i.e very long strip footing is considered by the software). I was thinking to model the strip load to exert equivalent pressure to a square footing...
 
This is not that complicated a problem. If you are computing settlements, it is easy to set up a spread sheet and you can do either square of long in the pressure distribution down there. Once you start this way you have many options as to site situations., such as up against a wall nearby.
 
OG, thanks for the comment. I will analyze the pressures from the footing separately using Boussinesq, apply Ka and check the pressures exerted to the wall...I will need to add this pressures manually in the software somehow though...
