Pressure De-Rating Dampeners

Have a propane reinjection pump with suction stabilizer and discharge dampener.

Stabilizer: design temperature 100F @ 740 psig
Dampener: design temperature 100F @ 1480 psig

It turns out the fluid stream could be as high as 115F.

What codes are applicable to increase the design temperature by de-rating the design pressure. I can go down to 270 psig on the stabilizer and 970 psig on the dampener.

Any ideas?
 
B31.3 for pipe andequipment and B 16.5 for flange rating.

Does B31.3 work for these dampeners though? They have CRN's so I would imagine they would be covered under ASME Section VIII.

I'm trying to avoid talking with the manufacturer and getting a deviation from them.

But does ASME Section VIII state anywhere that you can de-rate the pressure to increase design temperature? Or am I stuck getting the manufacturer to amend the CRN?
 
Ok, i had to go look up CRN,(Canadian registration number) please don't assume we all know what abbreviations are.

Sounds like it, yes. If it's a pressure vessel then unless it has two ratings then you need to get it re stamped.
