Hi!
this is my first post!
I'm looking for a formula showing pressure contact on a coupling between a hub (thin flange) fitted on a shaft to trasmit torque to a clutch.
Shape of shaft is hexagonal.
Any suggestion?

Since you are concerned about the contact pressure at the joint, the hub must not be sliding along the hex. The coupling is more than likely at the end of the shaft so why not make it easy for yourself and turn the hex to the diameter across flats and add a key? Now everything is "text book".
