Could anyone tell me how to calculate the pressure at vena contracta?

thanks

Believe you have to have access to experimentally derived discharge coefficient data for the restriction involved.

Use the integrated Bernoulli equation and calculate from where the conditions are known to the vena contracta. In the vena contracta, calculate the velocity based on the effective area being the coefficient of discharge times the actual area of the orifice or throat of the venturi. Be sure to correct for density changes due to T and P changes. It'll be iterative, but shouldn't take too long.

Good luck,
