Quick question as I was not able to find something similar and cannot figure a way to do it.
I have an assembly of several parts. I run a simulation using abaqus explicit in one step where load is applied during half of the step and in the remaining step the assembly is unloaded.
Now I want to run another analysis however I want to remove parts of the assembly. Half of the parts are removed and the remaining are the same as in first analysis. I would like though to use the stresses, strains and displacements from the final step of the previous analysis. I tried using predefined field but I havent been successful.
Is there another way to do it? Or is it not possible at all?
