I am evaluating precast T planks for containing materials due to bulk storage, such as sand or salt and I am having a diffcult time determining how they make these work for overturning and sliding compared to typical cast in place retaining walls. Actually I am just making it for overturning but for sliding I only have a .525:1 safety factor. Attached is a file. The first page shows the actual T shape section and the rest is the calc sheet with the T modeled slightly different but same width and height. Is there a trick to these things that I'm not understanding for evaluating the applied and restrained loads.

Normally, for walls of this height, retaining walls do need some form of vertical keyway to resist sliding. How that is done is up to your imagination and the design of your product. There are many ways.

Yes your right and based on exceeding the bearing capacity of my soil it should be sitting on a footing to help resist the sliding and bearing capacity.
