How to calculate allowable tensile stress in Post Tensioned Bridge Assessment.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

The obvious (and probably not very helpful) answer is to look in the applicable design code.

For more help some more information about exactly what you are looking for would be useful.

if you are fresh engineer in the field, I would like to suggest you to use the midas Civil software for the Post Tensioned bridge. they have good automatic design for the Post tensioined bridge as well as design report generatioin.

Contrary to the previous post, if you are a fresh engineer in the field, I suggest you do not touch any software and learn how to design PT structures before you do. That way you might actually learn enough to know how to run whatever software you eventually use and how to interpret its results correctly.
