hi again,

i am studying my self to prepare my next project that will be post tension bridge.i am currently designing prestress AASHTO bridge.

i know the basic difference between prestressed beam and post tensioned beam. but i never learn post tension bridge design at school.

would you please tell me the different design method and anything different way to design post tension bridge and post tension bridge?

is it really different way to design post tension bridge?
what kind of things are new in post tension bridge design?
please give me examples. it helps a lot.

thank you so much

young

there are many good references out there for the design of post-tensioned bridges.

Go to the FAQ section of the Bridge Engineering Forum and find some of those references.

The post-tensioning institute also has a lot of information and at one time had a design reference.
