How would one take into account ponding on roof slab and its supporting beams when using the NBCC?

Thanks.

Simple load distribution for 6" on water retention. Although it is not flat 6" as high and low line in case of steel structure are decided for 2% slope for drainage. In fact this is maximum at low line, so the depth above 6" to be drained by scuppers in case of regular clogged drains.

And pray to God that the scuppers don't ice up!
