I am looking for a sticky polyurethane gel material which is
safe for skin contact. I have seen toys made of this material that when thrown at a window, will stick, then slide, then stick, etc. and look like they are crawling down the window.

Anybody know what that material is and a source? The only materials I've found so far do not pass biocompatibility screening (cytotoxicity), in fact they fail miserably.

Hello virteceng,

the problems with biocompatibility of PU usually come from the catalysts used (tin-organic or amines) and from the Isocyanates or manufacturing residues contained in them.
Try Air Products or Witco for questions relating to the catalysts and Bayer for the Isocyanates.
These companies might even give you a working formulation or a ready-made product.

Good Luck!
Roger

As I know that stuff are "thermo plastic poly olefines". I searched in patent office of USA and I found there are a couple of patent on this matter, some of them from China.

Hope this help
