Polytropic vs Isentropic efficiency

hi everyone,
can anyone explain me the essential differense between polytropic and isentropic head/efficiencies. Know it's quite silly question, sorry for that.

thanks for your reference, as to my understanding the polytropic process is which the gas properties are considered and the isentropic is in which the friction is neglected, am I right?
