Hi all,
I am curious if anyone has information for operating polypipe (slightly) over 140F. I have been buying high temp rates poly up to 180F because I can see brief temperatures up to 145. There seems to be no published data for regular temp poly over 140. My pressure is 1/2 of the MAWP at 140F but I don’t have any knowledge of how the pressure vs temp curve acts after 140F. Is it semi liner where I could extrapolate or does it fall off quickly after 140. The goal of this excessive is to see if I can get comfortable using non high temp poly for the brief temperature excursions above 140, particularly since I am less than 1/2 MAWP operating pressure.
Thanks
