You can break the polyline and delete a little segment-> close the polyline with the right direction-> _pedit, join the polyline (start withe the right polyline)
Which ACAD-version do You use? Maybe I have a lisp for You.

Lothar,
We use ACAD 2000i. I was looking at the autodesk website this morning and found this: It talks about "Text display with complex linetypes", and says to write a lisp. Is this the kind of lisp you were writing about yesterday?
