Hi all,
Currently I am doing the inspection of plumbing system for a group of houses for a Village, The design seems constructed by a New Zealand plumbing code (something new for me because I work with the IPC)
I find the followings points in the inspection:
1) For sanitary system the vents are very far of the toilets, for examples the toilet is in the second floor (upside) and the vent pipe is in the first floor (downside) or with a big distance, another thing is when I talk of vent I mean Air admissible valve, son the vent just inhale and not exhale.
2) They are using Gully traps (grease traps) for the sanitary fixtures that work just with water (lavatory, washers, sink, etc), and using that gully traps like vents for those fixtures.
3) For the supply of fresh water they are no using air chamber or water hammer arrester, I saw a regulator valve to regulate pressure in the entrance line of the house for each one. (I think the pressure regulator valve compensate the lack of water hammer arrester or aire chamber, so this point could be OK)
I appreciate your opinions and advice.
Thanks inf advance
